As announced earlier, the 3-rd Middle-East Speleology Symposium (MESS3) will be held in Beirut in September 23-25, 2011, organized by the Spéléo-Club du Liban (SCL) and the
Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research (LNCSR), under the patronage of the
Union Internationale de Spéléologie (UIS).

The deadline for submitting the abstracts for the Symposium has been postponed till End of June 2011, so interested karst/cave scholars still have a chance to submit their contributions.
